Fall Artists’ Residencies
Two to five week residencies

September 8, 2008-October 12, 2008

Fall Artists’ in Residence at Ox-Bow are given the time, solitude, and focus often unavailable to so many working artists. At Ox-Bow, artists can enjoy 24-hour access to their studios, and an inspirational setting, free from the expectations of commercial and academic demands.

During the fall season, Artists’ in Residence have the opportunity to work in studios not available during the summer session. They also enjoy a more intimate community of like-minded, and diverse professionals. The fall season is also an ideal time to propose group or collaborative work.

Cost: $100 per week (includes room and board and use of studios).

Special Opportunity for Painters and Sculptors
Ox-Bow has received a grant from the Joan Mitchell Foundation. With this funding Ox-Bow will award full residency scholarships, plus a small stipend to ten select painters and sculptors during the 2008 Residency Cycle.
